Who we are.

Syntropy is a venture company based in Guatemala City. We're a small, multidisciplinary team — designers, technologists, and data people — who build businesses around a single idea: wellness, for people and for the places they live. We're not consultants who hand over a report and leave. We start companies, ship products, and stay in to run them.

The way we work is simple to say and hard to do: measure before you claim, design before you build, and never treat the healthy choice and the smart business as opposites. We care about rigor because wellness claims are cheap and proof is rare — we'd rather show the data than tell a story.

That conviction has taken two forms so far. Apotek Origins brings nutritional wellness to the table — whole foods, freeze-dried, nothing added. Our urban-intelligence work measures environmental wellness — sensor networks and data tools that gauge the air a city breathes and how it moves. Different products, one belief: that what's good for you and what's good around you are the same project.
